The Recruitment Screening Process
At Hotel and Catering Personnel we provide a thorough screening process on each one of our candidates from the point of receiving their resume to the point of placement. Once we have received a CV, we set up our own interview and from this point gauge whether the candidate is suitable to be put forward for any position we have available. Once the initial interview is completed and the candidate pass our rigorous questioning, our staff then perform the necessary checks prior to us recommending the candidate for employment.

Head Hunting is often a sensitive subject amongst many Hotel Groups, however Hotel and Catering Personnel treat our clients and candidates with the utmost respect and do not pressurize candidates who are not looking to move or progress in their career to apply. We believe in career progression for our candidates and supplying the best to our clients.

At Hotel and Catering Personnel not only are our clients our main focus, but we focus on career development for our candidates. Due to our extensive database and close relationships with our candidates, we are able to take someone from a lower entry level position and move them across the ranks through the years to a senior level position. Some of our candidates have started off as a commis chef and now hold the position of Executive Chef at leading hotels. Hotel and Catering Personnel recruit nationally and internationally in South Africa, Africa itself, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia etc. to mention a few and are looking to branch out to more of the world. We host recruitment drives at our offices in Cape Town for hotel groups in the UAE. We have recruited and empowered candidates to work in five star establishments.
